Her design process begins by discovering the unique personality within a palette of pearls, semi-precious and vintage beads. Guided by the colors, shapes, and textures of the raw materials, Sturman painstakingly designs, hand weaving, or crocheting  each piece in her New York City studio.

Opulent twists of keshi pearls caress the neck and cascade into frothy tendrils; richly-textured symphonies of stones, freshwater pearls or vintage beads combine to tell a uniquely fascinating story.
